Winds on the back end or the exiting side of the low will usher in much cooler air for Tuesday. The rain and wind will be on the aggressive side and we may even hear the rumble of thunder from time to time. Monday will be a bit rough as an area of low pressure is going to move overhead. Sunday should be another nice day but the clouds will move in as the day moves along as mostly cloudy skies will define the afternoon. Saturday should be the same, but just a bit cooler. Temps may spike into the 70s in some of our Piedmont locations as well as the Roanoke area so a mild Thanksgiving is expectedįriday will be a bit cooler with the temps in the low 60s but still looking forward to mostly sunny skies. Temps on Thanksgiving will be in the middle to upper 60s most spots as a warm migration of air arrives from the south and west. Orlando and Central Florida will see afternoon storms increase over the next few days. Travel to Grandmother’s house for the Thanksgiving Day feast should not pose much of a problem. Best news is the rain should be over by early Thursday. The region north of 64 may see over a half an inch of rain, while most locations are looking at about a quarter inch. The rain may be heavy at times after midnight as the front will cross the area in darkness. Interstate 77 always seems to be the focal point for gusty winds over the Blue Ridge Plateau, so stay alert. When it comes to Colorado weather, it’s what everyone wants to know.
